Landscape Painting

I took a landscape painting class in May/June with the same teacher I had for Painting 2. It was lots of fun, I got to paint outside, and I definitely made some improvements. My main goal of the class was to get comfortable with painting landscapes to the point where I'd be able to do them out of my head fairly believably. I think I accomplished that.

All of the paintings here were done in either an hour or two. Some were two and a half hours at the very most, and some were done in less than an hour. I have them displayed in chronological order, to the best of my memory.

The last two were done straight out of my head (I think it's fairly obvious that they don't represent real places). They are my favorites, along with the romantic blue/orange one with the stairs. YAY.
